Denzel Roland Stone is a student at Keaton School of the Arts. He is studying in the Visual Arts Program.

Biography[]

In Season 1, Denzel notes how he is the youngest student at Keaton and basically sees himself as a prodigy. As an artist, Denzel excels at costume design and visual arts such as paintings and drawings.

He has a mom, a dad, and the youngest of three athletic brothers.

He considers Julie his artistic mentor.

In the episode "Lose Yourself", he gets upset when he made a 95% on his assignment, showing that he is an A+ student.

Keaton School of the Arts[]

In the pilot episode, "The First Day", Denzel runs by Alya who asks herself "What am I doing here?" and responds by saying "Conquering the world!" This is an ongoing theme that follows Denzel throughout the entire first season as he strives to find who he is and what his purpose is in life.

In the Season 2 premiere, "And We're Back...", Denzel texts Scarlett "Missing you." She replies, saying, "You better be conquering the world." He is not in the Season 2 title sequence. Plot-related, it remains unclear why Denzel isn’t at Keaton in Season 2.
